I have been in quite a few communities in my few years of RP, and, like mostly everyone else, have had my fair share of disappointments. I had Bailey here in two prior communities, and he didn't fit in well in one, and the other community died. I was growing sick of roleplay and the same characters and ruts, and one day I saw an ad on ~pbads. I hadn't even been on there in a long time, but I looked at the community and it looked interesting, so I applied right away, only to find out a few hours later that some of my OOC friends were planning on taking their kids there, too!
I've looked at this community a lot, but I've never written anything. I also never figured that I'd be writing one of these within a month of being accepted to here, but I also never imagined I'd fit in so well and love a community from the very beginning like I did at ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) collegelife! So now it's individual praise time:
gavinp and nkh both go first, because you two are seriously two of the most amazing people I have ever met and I couldn't decide which to put first! I have never ever been cliche with PBs before but fgis thank you for making the little bit of cliche that's in my heart alive, lmao. I am so happy that both of you decided to join and that neither of you minded being cliche in the slightest, and that we seemed to bond over the boys, too! Bailey would not be Bailey without Gavin to conspire with, and without Noah to tell to go build his ark. Seriously, though, I've never gone into a community with a group of friends for my kid, but it couldn't have worked out better! Long live the bromance~ ily both :)
andrewcohen goes next because she also made my rp-life even more cliche yet more awesome by picking up Drew. They have the best conversations, mostly late at night when we're both tired haha, and I'm not sure where Bailey would be without his typoing, always-needing-to-pee friend! Even though they get very competitive about the Geography Challenge game they're always joking and five minutes later they're back to talking about the green flag or banana pies, haha. Basically, I just wanted to thank you for going along with my strange request for a PB choice that I don't think you'd even heard of.
lilyana, I'm glad that we finally found a place to take these two because they are adorable! They have the strangest conversations and I don't think that they have a whole bunch in common, but they seem to go together perfectly. I still feel like a flake for not knowing that I didn't have Bailey on for like a whole two weeks because I completely forgot and didn't notice that he wasn't linked, lmao so thank you for not hating me. :(
lxi, we have been in so many communities together and we always have to have a line, even though sometimes, sadly our characters' lines get neglected and don't end up working out. I really love the dynamic between Bailey and Lexi, though, and how they seem to bring out the worst in each other, but only when it comes to just joking around! I don't think that I've ever had a character who just randomly spits out the first thing that comes to his mind, and sadly most of it is toward Lexi, lmao which makes me feel awful! But then when they team up they can be a pretty cruel duo...and I love it, and you!
taliah, sifhos hi! Taliah and Bailey do not have the same kind of friendship that Brie and Alex had, but that's okay because who wants to be repetitive? They are SO MEAN to each other, and usually I'm always over here cracking up behind the screen. I think I find it so amusing because where Brie and Alex were always fangirling and laughing and getting along, these two just are total polar opposites who put up with each other because they grew up together. From Taliah's teasing him about girls, to Bailey making fun of her and her ketchup, I don't think that I've ever had a line before where "arguing" was just so much fun!
prinz, I just thought I'd let you know that I love Wes. Really, he makes me laugh! From the secret-ingredient pies to sandwiches and cleaning rooms, I think I laugh at most of the things that come out of his mouth. And I don't think that we had a preplanned line, but they just got on so well right from the very beginning that we didn't even need one!
As much as I'd like to write something about each and every one of you, I need to get ready to go to class soon so I just don't have the time! But special props to evangelia for being awesome. Evie is an amazing stalker LMAO, thank you for some of the most amazing in-character conversations I have ever had! ashfords, WHY DO BAY LEAF AND LEMONAIDEN NOT TALK ANYMORE??? This makes me sad, we must work on it! He is an amazing character, though. Shoutouts go to (in no particular order except for alphabetical) barrettnagel, drix, galati, mkamherst, and theresaraven. But really, everyone who's apart of collegelife that makes it as amazing as it is, thank you.
